Baby Shower Cake with Candy Blocks
A baby shower cake I made for a friend. Buttercream frosting. The baby blanket is fondant. The blocks are made with Wilton candy melts. I used a candy mold and then glued the pieces together using extra candy.

Cake with Royal Icing Butterflies and Roses
Cake I made for my daughter's birthday! Cake is covered in marshmallow fondant...which is so much cheaper and easier than regular fondant. Plus, it tastes better. The butterflies were an experiment. They are made from royal icing and were made a day ahead.
Pink and White Cupcakes
Some cupcakes I made with the leftover batter from the butterfly cake for Madison's slumber party. Pink and white striped frosting.

Wedding Cake-Fresh Flowers
This cake is by far my favorite. A three-tiered stacked cake with cream cheese frosting. Decorated with satin ribbon and a cascading flow of fresh flowers to match the bride's bouquet. So pretty!
4 Tier Wedding Cake with Roses
I am very proud of this one. This was a lot of work but I think it was worth it. Stacked and pillared tiers. Buttercream frosting and Royal icing roses.

3 Tier Wedding Cake-Blue & White
One of my better ones. Two stacked tiers, one pillared. Blue satin ribbon around the bottom edges. Decorated with Navy blue buttercream roses and silver leaves.
Basketweave Wedding Cake
So this is the first wedding cake I ever attempted to make before having any lessons or training. I was pretty adventurous to try a basketweave...I think it turned out pretty good for being an amateur and winging it!
Doll Cake
I saw these doll cakes were becoming popular and decided to try it out for the daughter of a friend. Was a bit tricky to frost, but it was fun and the possibilities are endless. Made this a few years ago.
Pool Table Cake!
Yes, it is a pool table. I made this SEVERAL years ago. It is covered in fondant and rests atop pillars coated in chocolate. Gumballs decorate the top.
Cherry Cupcakes
I made these cute cupcakes a few years ago, when I was in "The Cherry Orchard" at Lane Community College. I brought these in for the actors and crew.
Amish Ginger Cookies
These Amish Ginger cookies filled my house with the most comforting aroma! They are super easy to make and taste as good as they smell. These cookies are definitely best fresh out of the oven, while they're warm and chewy. They get a bit hard after the first day, so I suggest dunking them in milk or coffee at that stage. Of course that's IF they last more than a day! They will probably be gobbled up before then. :)
Christmas Goodies
Mmmm...the yummy goodness! Chocolate covered cherries, peanut butter balls, peppermint bark, fudge, caramel corn, and peppermint whoopies!
The Peppermint Whoopies were a new addition this year. I made red/white pinwheel cookies. Next, I made a sandwich by spreading a marshmallow creme/peppermint filling in between two cookies. To finish them off, I rolled the sides in crushed Andes peppermint baking chips. :) SO GOOD!
Christmas Cookies!
The holidays are always a busy time in my kitchen. Here are some of my Almond Star Cookies, Gingerbread Men, and in the upper right corner are some Peppermint Whoopie Pies.
Tigger Birthday Cake
For the Tigger on the top sheet cake, I did a frozen Buttercream transfer. This was my first time experimenting with frozen Buttercream transfers. I was surprised how easy it was. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted, but I think I will be able to perfect it the next time around.
Bridal Shower Cake #1
I made this cake for a friend's bridal shower. I used a heart shaped pan to make the body. For the bust I used the mini wonder mold pan.
